Quality identification wristbands for mums and babies

Identity monitoring is essential in maternity wards. Mother and infant must both be correctly identified. Our wristbands will help you set up an effective identification system in your maternity ward or clinic. Our maternity wristbands have been specially designed to adapt to the sensitive skin of newborns. They are made from soft materials to avoid irritation, and have rounded edges to ensure comfort throughout their stay in hospital. The wristbands have practical, tamper-proof fastening to ensure they stay securely in place throughout the hospital stay, guaranteeing patient security. Our birth wristbands can be adapted to different wrist sizes thanks to the adjustable fastening. In vinyl, plastic or foam, our extremely durable birth wristbands are water and solvent resistant. All our identity monitoring wristbands are hypoallergenic and do not contain latex or phthalates.

Different models of birth wristbands to suit your needs

We have a wide range of wristbands for mums and their newborn babies. Our range includes wristbands with direct registration or card insertion, to record all the essential data needed to identify the mother and child correctly. We offer vinyl wristbands with Snugfit or Secursnap fastenings, which have a number of advantages: they prevent the person wearing the wristband from removing it; the wristband can be tightened without being able to loosen it, which is useful because wristbands need to be tightened many times in the first few days of a baby's life, and they minimise the pressure on the newborn's wrist, thereby preventing injury. We also offer two models of foam birth wristbands: one for newborn babies and one for premature babies. These foam hospital wristbands have a Velcro fastening so they can be removed whenever the baby needs to be washed. The soft foam material is comfortable for babies, preventing the risk of injury.

Wristbands with several parts

Our wristbands are available in two, three and four-part versions. We offer wristband sets that contain several wristbands in adult and baby sizes. We have models that combine one or more wristbands for adults and one or more wristbands for babies. In this way, several wristbands can be attached to the newborn baby, one on the wrist and the other on the foot. In the first few days of life, newborn babies lose 20 to 30% of their weight, meaning that the wristband they wear on their wrist could easily be lost. Our three-part wristbands limit the risk of being unable to identify mother and baby.
